About the Author
Dr. Heather L. Johnson is an actively practicing gynecologist and recently retired obstetrician after delivering babies for over 40 years. She is a senior partner at Reiter, Hill & Johnson, an Advantia practice, with offices in Washington, DC, Chevy Chase, MD, and Falls Church, VA. She has been in private practice since 1987. Dr. Johnson received her MD at Yale University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, then located in Washington, DC. Dr. Johnson is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served in the US Army for eight years prior to going into private practice. She has two children and two grandchildren.
