Who do you think of when you hear the phrase, “female athlete”? Tennis star Serena Williams and figure skater Michelle Kwan are usually on the list, along with Lindsey Vonn and Gabby Douglas. These incredible women have worked hard and received tremendous achievements, but they’re all relatively new to the game. What about previous generations of female athletes?


The eighth FIFA Women’s World Cup is currently in full swing in France. This renowned soccer tournament brings together talented women from across the globe to compete. So, we thought it was the perfect time to introduce one of our new young adult releases. “
