Tell me about your journey to becoming a writer.
My journey to becoming a writer started in early childhood. I would often write letters to express my feelings instead of talking!
What was the main inspiration behind your book?
The main inspiration behind writing this book was when I actually found and agreed to take care of the birds after Hurricane Harvey. I wanted to tell a happy, uplifting story, we were all healing from something dark at the time, and I wanted to share light and happiness!!
What kind of research did you have to do for it?
Not much research considering I see Henry and Henrietta daily. I read online about what to feed them.
What was your writing routine?
My writing routine was a little bit at a time. Daily, spiritually-driven listening to my intuitive voice.
What was the process behind the character creation?
My characters are derived from the personalities I see in the birds, Henry always looked Regal, my imagination visualized them both as royalty!

NO, due to the pandemic events have been limited.

My life changed as the birds healed, and I started to heal from a severe nervous breakdown.
Why should people read your book?
People should read my book because it is a story written straight from my heart that makes anyone who reads it happy. It is a story that inspires light, hope, care, warmth and love!!
