At Atlantic Publishing Group, Inc., we want to make sure our interns get the full experience of being part of a publishing staff. You will get first-hand experience in all aspects of the book publishing business and will be an integral part of the publishing process. As an intern, you won’t be the designated coffee-fetcher — you will have assignments and work on projects for books that will actually be printed.

Interns will get the full staff experience, so on top of having personalized e-mail addresses and contributing to books, you’ll also have some space of your own. We’ve recently renovated our warehouse space and turned it into a fully equipped office — just for interns. It used to house our shipping facility, which has moved to a 25,000 sq. ft. building in Starke.

There are 12 new cubicles in the 1,200-square-foot building. As an intern, you’ll have your own bathroom and meeting and break room, complete with a new refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot to satisfy all your caffeine cravings. (We’re all writers at heart, here — we understand the need for freshly brewed coffee at 4 p.m.)

We’re also installing 12 new iMacs on our wireless network with automatic backups and access to our company server. You’ll have everything you need to be a successful and productive member of our staff.
