    Our Program

Q: What is the Atlantic Publishing Company (APC) Affiliate Program?
A: The APC Affiliate Program is a program designed to allow you to sell our products through or on your website, paying you a flat 20% commission for each eligible product sold. Commissions are earned when affiliates send customers to our website via your affiliate link and they place an order for our products.   The APC Affiliate Program is a great way to earn cash, introduce visitors to the products on our website, and join the world's largest trading community. The APC Affiliate Program compensates affiliates 20% of Revenue for all Eligible product sales.

Q: Why should I join and become an APC Affiliate?
A: Becoming an APC Affiliate is easy and free - plus affiliates make an industry best 20% commission for each eligible product sold! 

Q: Is the APC Affiliate Program free?
A: Yes! There is absolutely no cost to become an APC Affiliate. Join now and start earning money today!

Q: How do I register?
A: You must complete our online application form and accept our Affiliate Agreement. After your application is submitted, your application will be reviewed and if approved, you will be sent full instructions, links and promotional material.

    Earnings/ Compensation

Q: What is the payment structure for the APC Affiliate Program?
A: You earn a flat 20% commission on all eligible product sales

Q: How often are affiliates paid?
A: At the beginning of every month payments are processed.  You must have earned a minimum commission of $50 for that month in order for a payment to be processed.  Amounts less than $50 will be carried over to the next month.

Q: If I operate more than one Web site, can I track them separately and still receive a single payment?
A: Yes. You are able to operate multiple Web sites and URLs with a single APC Affiliate.

Q: Once visitors click from my Web site to APC, how long will they be tracked (when do their cookies expire)?
A: Cookies expire 30 days after the cookie is placed.

    Eligibility

Q: Are all Web sites and businesses eligible to become APC affiliates?
A: We'd like everyone to join our affiliate program; however, there are cases where we must disallow certain sites to participate in our Affiliate Program. We evaluate all affiliate applications and notifies each applicant of acceptance or rejection. We may reject any affiliate application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that a site is unsuitable for the Program. Unsuitable sites include those that:

  • Promote sexually explicit materials
  • Promote violence
  • Promote illegal activities
  • Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age

Q: Am I eligible to participate in the APC program if I reside outside the United States?
A: Our affiliate program only accepts applications from affiliates based in the US.

Q: Can I participate in other affiliate programs?
A: Yes - Our Affiliate Program is non-exclusive.

Q: Does APC require a business license to participate in the program?
A: No. We require affiliates to be either an individual or a formal business / company. Upon registration, individuals should enter their Social Security Number in lieu of a Tax ID/Business License; likewise, corporations or companies are required to provide a Tax ID number.

    Multiple Applications

Q: Can I apply to the affiliate program more than once?
A: Yes. You can have multiple sites as an APC Affiliate. However, APC enables affiliates to track and operate numerous sites within a single affiliate account - this is the recommended method of operation because affiliates are able to receive a single, consolidated commission check.

    Creating/Setting up Links

Q: May I use the APC logo or content on my site?
A: Affiliates have access to a wide variety of buttons, banners, and text links after signing up for our program and are welcome to use any of the graphics and text links provided. Affiliates, however, may not alter or modify any banners or buttons without obtaining prior written permission from Atlantic Publishing Company.

Q: How do I create links?
A: Once registered with APC's Affiliate Program, you'll be provided with a variety of banners, buttons and text links that you can then be added to your Web site. You can log into your account and access the promotional materials page for more detailed instructions. 

Q: How many APC links or banners can I display?
A: Affiliates may place and display as many links (both text and banner) as they choose. In fact, we encourage affiliates to place multiple links and banners on their site(s).

Q: Where should I place the links on my site?
A: You should place links where they are easy for your site visitors to find, such as your home page. Links also receive more activity when they are above the fold on the page. Some areas you may want to place your links include your home page, your navigation bar, and any other high traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your site, your visitors will be more likely to click and place bids.

Q: Can I link to a specific APC product or web page?
A: Yes, You can link to any Atlantic Publishing Company web page or URL through Entrance Pages or Custom Landing Pages, as outlined in the promotional materials page of the affiliate control panel.  You have permission to copy book cover images and descriptions from our web site to yours for use as an affiliate.

Q: Can I place links on multiple Web sites?
A: We recommend adding our links to each of your Web sites.

    Products/ Tools

Q: What linking tools does APC offer?
A: APC offers several linking tools, such as Banners, Text Links, Entrance Pages, Landing Pages, and you may also place our products on your website.  Detailed instructions are contained on the promotional material page in the affiliate control panel.  

    My Account

Q: Can I change my  password once I have registered?
A: Yes, APC Affiliates can change username and password information in the account management section in the control panel.

Q: How do I change my account information?
A: All account information can be changed within the account management section of control panel.

Q: Can I register more than one URL on the same account?
A: Yes. Affiliates can include numerous URLs and Web sites within a single account, enabling affiliates to have inclusive reporting, tracking, and commissions.

Q: Who do I contact for program assistance?

    Reporting

Q: Can I monitor and track my transaction and performance metrics?
A: Yes. Full reports are available in the control panel.

Q: How do I terminate my affiliate membership?
A: Should an affiliate wish to terminate his or her account, it can be done through the control panel.

    Legal & Tax Questions

Q: Do I need to sign an agreement to be an APC affiliate?
A: Affiliates must agree to the terms of our User Agreement before joining our program.

Q: Do I need to notify the IRS of commissions earned through the APC Affiliate Program?
A: Yes, all revenues must be reported to the IRS.

Q: May I include APC in my company press releases, marketing material, etc.? (a)
A: Yes

Q: What tax information is required to participate?
A: Affiliates will be asked for their Social Security Number or Tax ID number; this information is secure and is needed only for tax purposes.

    Communication
Q: Will the APC Affiliate Team communicate with me via email?
A: Yes. We will send periodic newsletters with new program updates.

Q: Does APC have a policy against unsolicited email?
A: We prohibit the use of unsolicited emails or "spam" and reserves the right to terminate the membership of any APC affiliate engaging in such practices.

DISCLAIMER

1) Terms of the Agreement: The term of this Agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your Affiliate application and will end when terminated by either party. Either you or we may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice of termination. You are only eligible to earn referral fees on sales occurring during the term.

2) Enrollment Process: To begin the enrollment process, Affiliate will submit an application via www.atlantic-pub.com. Atlantic Publishing Company will evaluate Affiliate's application and will notify Affiliate of Affiliate's acceptance or rejection.  Atlantic Publishing Company may reject Affiliate's application if  Atlantic Publishing Company  determines that Affiliate's site is unsuitable for the Affiliate Program. Reasons for rejection can include, but are not limited to the Affiliate's site promoting violence, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age, or the Affiliate's site promoting illegal activities and/or violating intellectual property rights.

3) Modification: We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, at any time and in our sole discretion, by posting a change notice or a new agreement on this site. Modifications may include, for example, changes in the scope of available referral fees, fee schedules, payment procedures and Program rules. IF ANY MODIFICATION IS UNACCEPTABLE TO YOU, YOUR ONLY RECOURSE IS TO TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT. YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM FOLLOWING OUR POSTING OF A CHANGE NOTICE OR NEW AGREEMENT ON OUR SITE WILL CONSTITUTE BINDING ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGE.

4) Limitation of Liability: We will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential damages, or any loss of revenue, profits or data, arising in connection with this Agreement or the Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Further, our aggregate liability arising with respect to this Agreement and the Program will not exceed the total referral fees paid or payable to you under to this Agreement.

5) Independent Investigation: You acknowledge that you have read this agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. You understand that we may at any time (directly or indirectly) solicit customer referrals on terms that may differ from those contained in this agreement or operate web sites that are similar to or compete with your website. You have independently evaluated the desirability of participating in the program and are not relying on any representation, guarantee or statement other than as set forth in this agreement.

6) SPAM:  Atlantic Publishing Company  has a zero tolerance policy for SPAM. Any Affiliate accused of SPAMMING will be immediately removed from our affiliate program.  The only recourse you will have to maintain your affiliate relationship is proof of 'opt in' that will undermine the validity of the Spam complaint. Valid SPAM complaints will result in the immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any commissions owed you.

7) Miscellaneous: This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the home state of Florida. Any action relating to this Agreement must be brought in the federal or state courts located in the home state of Florida, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. You may not assign this Agreement, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Subject to that restriction, this Agreement will be binding on, inure to the benefit of and be enforceable against the parties and their respective successors and assigns. Our failure to enforce your strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of our right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision of this Agreement.

8) Linking: We will provide you with textual and graphical links (Link Materials) with which you may link your Web site to our Web site. These Link Materials are available in your affiliate login panel in the 'instructions' area. If you are an approved Affiliate, we grant you a non-exclusive limited license solely to reproduce and use these Link Materials, including our trademarks to the extent they are incorporated into these Link Materials, only while you are an Affiliate and only in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You many include Link Materials in mailings to your opted-in lists (see section 6 regarding Spam) and in other advertisements at your discretion.  You agree to display the Link Materials appropriately on your Web site and in advertisements, and to respect our trademarks, service marks, and other rights in the Link Materials. You will use only these Link Materials to link to www.atlantic-pub.com, and you will not alter the look or feel of these Link Materials or of our Web site in any way. You will use reasonable efforts to update to new versions of Link Materials as we make them available.

9) Tracking:  Atlantic Publishing Company will be solely responsible for tracking sales using special software that communicates with the specially encoded URLs assigned to affiliates.  Atlantic Publishing Company will endeavor to do its best to ensure accurate tracking of referrals made by affiliates. Affiliates will themselves be solely responsible for ensuring that these special URLs are formatted properly, a necessary prerequisite to accurate tracking of referral sales. Notwithstanding the above statement of responsibility by Atlantic Publishing Company  to track sales, affiliates hereby acknowledge and accept that the tracking system employed by Atlantic Publishing Company  is not 100% fail-safe and that there may on occasion be instances of referral sales made that are not credited to an affiliate for any of the following possible reasons:

Failure by the affiliate to use the proper format of the specially assigned URL in promotions, webpage links, banner ads, and so on Deliberate or accidental actions by customers to circumvent an affiliate's special URL so that our software is unable to accurately track that sale.

Bugs, glitches or crashes of the tracking software that render it unable to accurately track sales for a period of time.

Acts of nature that cause irretrievable data loss on the computers and back-up disk media.

10) Relationships and Responsibilities: You will be solely responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of your site and for all materials that appear on your site. For example, you will be solely responsible for:

The technical operation of your site and all related equipment

The accuracy and appropriateness of materials posted on your site (including, among other things, all product-related materials)

Ensuring that materials posted on your site do not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party (including, for example, copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights)

Ensuring that materials posted on your site are not libelous or otherwise illegal.

We disclaim all liability for these matters. Further, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, damages, and expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees) relating to the development, operation, maintenance, and contents of your site.

11) Relationship of Parties:  Atlantic Publishing Company  and your company are independent contractors, and nothing in this Agreement will create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties. You will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf. You will not make any statement, whether on your site or otherwise, that reasonably would contradict anything in this agreement.

12) You will receive 20% of the revenue as a commission from orders placed through your Affiliate Site for products which are designated as “affiliate eligible” products.  Affiliate Eligible products are those products produced and published by Atlantic Publishing Company.  A complete list of eligible products is available on our Affiliate Signup page.

For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form and remit full payment for the service ordered.  Currently the Atlantic Publishing Company does not support Second Tier Affiliates.  Affiliate commissions will only be paid on sales which are made through qualified Affiliates. Affiliates MUST have an active link on their website.

13) The Atlantic Publishing Company Affiliate Program will be solely responsible for processing every order placed by a customer on the Affiliate sites. Customers who purchase products and services through The Atlantic Publishing Company Affiliate Program will be deemed to be customers of The Atlantic Publishing Company Affiliate Program. Prices and availability of our products and services may vary from time to time. The Atlantic Publishing Company Affiliate Program policies will always determine the price paid by the customer. We reserve the right to reject any order that does not comply with our rules, operating procedures and policies.

14) We make no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the Affiliate Program or your potential to earn income from the Atlantic Publishing Company Affiliate Program. In addition, we make no representation that the operation of our site or the Affiliate Sites will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we will not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or down time.

15) No commission is paid on YOUR purchases from the Atlantic Publishing Company Affiliate Program. In other words you cannot buy from yourself or be your first purchase for the sole purpose of discounting your own purchases. You cannot buy products for yourself through your affiliate links for the sole purpose of discounting your own purchases.

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without reference to rules governing choice of laws. Any action relating to this Agreement must be brought in the Federal or State courts located in Ocala, Florida, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. You may not assign this Agreement, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Subject to that restriction, this Agreement will be binding on, inure to the benefit of, and enforceable against the parties and their respective successors and assigns. Our failure to enforce your strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of our right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision of this Agreement.
